The economic slowdown has been reversed, but the task of sustaining the trend remains

MEANINGS :-

Fiscal – relating to government revenue, especially taxes – राजकोषीय

Rebounded :- bounce back through the air after hitting something hard – पहुंच

Preceding:- come before (something) in time etc. – पूर्ववर्ती
“A gun battle had preceded the explosions”

Revival : an improvement in the condition, strength, or fortunes of someone or something. –  पुनः प्रवर्तन
“A revival in the fortunes of the party”

Vanguard : a group of people leading the way in new developments or ideas. – हरावल
“The experimental spirit of the modernist vanguard”

Rebound : bounce back through the air after hitting something hard. –  प्रतिक्षेप

Recovering : return to a normal state of health, mind, or strength – ठीक हो
“Neil is still recovering from shock”

Significantly :  in a sufficiently great or important way as to be worthy of attention- काफी

Variance : the fact or quality of being different, divergent, or inconsistent. – झगड़ा

Proxy : the authority to represent someone else, especially in voting. – प्रतिनिधि

Sustaining : strengthen or support physically or mentally. – थामनेवाला

Slump:  sit, lean, or fall heavily and limply. – विपरीत परिस्थितियों

Considerably : by a notably large amount or to a notably large extent; greatly. – काफी

Overstated : state too strongly; exaggerate. – अतिरंजित
“I overstated my case to make my point”

Worryingly : in a way that causes anxiety about actual or potential problems – चिंताजनक रूप

Portend : be a sign or warning that (something, especially something momentous or calamitous) is likely to happen.- संकेत मिलता

Resurgence : an increase or revival after a period of little activity, popularity, or occurrence. – पुनरुत्थान

Inflationary:  characterised by or tending to cause monetary inflation. – मुद्रास्फीति

Appreciably: to an appreciable extent; considerably.-  पर्याप्त रूप
“Profits have grown appreciably over the last four years”

Priming : gunpowder placed in the pan of a firearm to ignite a charge – भड़काना
“He checked the priming of his gun”

Drastically : in a way that is likely to have a strong or far-reaching effect. – काफी
“Now her fortunes have changed drastically”

Deficit : an excess of expenditure or liabilities over income or assets in a given period. –  घाटा
“An annual operating deficit”
